Project 365 - Day 57

Today was a trip to the park. Jake had a first there, sliding down the slide by himself! That makes it a little easier on me! The way I finally got him to go down was to lay on my back at the bottom. Like an ornery little boy, he wanted to hit me, so he slid on down. Then a game grew where I laid down and pointed my camera at the top of the slide. The kids took turns sliding down at me! We all giggled the whole time! Here's the pics of all 3 big kids sliding at me!

Project 365 - Day 56

Can you believe another month has flown by and my little Catey bug is now 7 months old. Yesterday, while we picked flowers, I got pics of the girls. You saw one yesterday. Today is Catelyn, exploring what exactly a flower is!

Project 365 - Day 55

We went outside to cut some flowers for a vase. While out there, I got some cute pics of the girls. They are such best friends!

Project 365 - Day 51, 52, and 53

You may have noticed I was MIA this weekend. We went on a small family vacation and had a blast around St. Louis! I didn't get up pictures on the days we were gone, so instead, I'll make up by bombarding you with 3 days worth of pics today!

First stop on our family vacation, Magic House! This place is just awesome! The kids get to play and use their imagination all day! The first thing they did was pretend they were in a fairy tale!

Outside they had a little wading pool thing. It was so cool. Emma and Jake decided they didn't just want to wade!

President Abby is addressing the press!

I don't know if I want her in charge of important decisions!

President Jake is schmoozing the public!

Catey is having fun too!

Back at the hotel, Abby was goofing around!

Catey hiding in her pillow fort! But really, this is the only way we can get this lazy baby to sit up on her own!

The entrance to the Butterfly House! This place is really beautiful, I love it! My new favorite place!

Family pic at the Butterfly House. Of course, it's impossible to get everyone in my family of 6 to look at the camera!

I really want a bench like this! A scrap metal place donated it to the Butterfly House!

Being surrounded by roaches don't scare them! They try to scare them away!

Jake and Grandpa outside the Old Spaghetti Factory! We met my parents and family there for lunch!

Uncle Seth, Aunt Keli, and Emma outside the Old Spaghetti Factory!

After we ate, we took a walk to the Arch! Abby standing below the Arch! I love this shot!

Emma in front of the Arch! Also love this shot!

Stand right next to the Arch!

I also uploaded a few "Artsy" shots here!

Project 365 - Day 50

Kids mimic things you do all the time. Some habits you'd like them to pick up, others you wouldn't. I'm proud to say, this is one habit I'd like him to pick up!

*Note: He's playing the Wii Fit. I try to get on it and work out a few times a week. If your further curious about my weight loss, I started a weight loss blog. I forgot to post a link for with my weight loss pics!

Project 365 - Day 49

We've had Harry Potter fever at our house. Been watching all the older movies for about 2 weeks now, then Nate and I saw the 6th one in the theaters. We even went so far to buy the game on Wii. Abby just thinks it's the coolest thing. So cool in fact, she has to get dressed in her "Harry Potter" outfit to watch us play it. This is Abby's Harry Potter outfit!

Project 365 - Day 48

Last night, my baby boy slept in his big boy bed for the first time! It took him a bit to get to sleep, but once he did, he slept good! I guess he's not my baby boy anymore!

Project 365 - Day 47

Sunday was beautiful outside, so what better thing to do than go to the Zoo! We met up with my friend Christina and her family! She's got the cutest little boy, BTW! Here's a few pics from that day.

Here's the whole group. Catey, Christina, and David are all kind of hiding, but you can see a bit of them!

Then after walking a little bit, we decided to let the kids ride the big Merry-Go-Round. I couldn't get great pics of them all, but I thought this was cute! Jake and Grandma!

This is like the only pic I got of Chris and David... darn it! I got Catey too, so I got the 3 missing from the first pic!

Finally, the end of the trip. The kids were hot, so they decided to cool off in the water fall!

Project 365 - Day 46

I walk outside and I'm greeted with this! My guess is they were trying to put on "makeup." Regardless, I couldn't get mad at silly little girls!

Project 365 - Day 45

Can you guess where we went last night? It was Jake's first time on rides and he LOVED it!! The girls had a blast too! I unfortunately didn't get a shot of all of them looking at me. Em and Jake were looking at their uncle!

Project 365 - Day 44

Jake is such a silly boy! Yesterday morning he wanted to dress up like his sisters. I could only guess he was trying to be like mommy with the dress and cleaning up bottles. Regardless, he's a goof!

Project 365 - Day 43

Today's entry is about me. Since starting to lose weight in January, I've lost 30 pounds (almost 6 months exactly) and I'm pretty proud. I can't believe I'm being brave enough to show you all this, but the first picture is me back in January. The second is me yesterday. Bit of a difference?!

*NOTE: I'm wearing the same jeans and shirt in both pics!

Project 365 - Day 42

Today, Nathan and I have been married for 5 years! As he said, now it seems like we've been married a while. No, he didn't say it felt like a while, just that 5 is a bigger number in married years (now-a-days). To commemorate that, here's a pic from our wedding, 5 years ago!

And here we are now. Er well back in May.

Project 365 - Day 41

My girls are silly, but I think we all knew that. Abby and Emma were sitting at their little picnic table eating lunch when I got up for a minute. When I came in, Catey was crying for her bottle, so I didn't even glance at the girls when I sat down. After messing with Catey for a few minutes I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. I look up to see they had moved from their picnic table, to sitting on the couch eating. I think what cracked me up even more was how much they looked like their mommy sitting on the couch eating lunch a bit earlier. Then they had to make silly faces to go with the pic!

Project 365 - Day 40

Does this not seriously make you smile when you look at it! She is so happy and funny! I put in the little Pebbles Flintstone ponytail and that just topped off the look! And no, that's not a funny growth on the right side of her head (your left), that's Emma walking behind her and got her head in the pic.

Project 365 - Day 39

I'm a bad mommy. I've gotten my daughter addicted to video games. Last night, I had the idea to play Mario Party 8 with the bigger girls, thinking that at least Abby could kind of figure it out. Boy was I right, that girl picked it up quicker than you can say "Mario Party 8." From then on, she's been bugging me to "play Mario." I gave in this afternoon and let her play for a little bit. Here she is in action, full concentration on her game!

*Does she remind you of anyone?! *cough cough, Uncle Seth, cough cough*

Project 365 - Day 38

I had this one ready to go yesterday, but I wasn't on the computer much to get it up. Emma is such a nut! She comes walking out of her room just like this! Lucky for you, after I laughed for a few minutes, I thought to grab my camera and share the laugh!

Project 365 - Day 37

Today's picture is of babies. But not my babies, our kitty Minnie, had a litter around 2 weeks ago. We weren't 100% sure where they were until today, when Nate moved the cow's feed bunker. Low and behold, under that were 5 little bitty kitties! They are just too cute! From what I could tell, 3 girls and 2 boys. Two are gray and white, look like momma, two are just plain gray, and one is tiger striped, like daddy. Now cue the "Awwwwww."

Project 365 - Day 36

Ok, today's entry isn't a picture, but a video. This is honestly too precious not to share! Aunt Keli had Catey cracking up yesterday. Of course, we were cracking up at her laughing, which made her laugh more. Please don't mind my big nose in the beginning or the bad camera shooting. I was trying to hold Catey and take the video. Enjoy!

Project 365 - Day 35

Catey loves her Aunt Keli. All she has to do is look at her and she starts cracking up. This is exactly what she did for this picture!

Project 365 - Day 34

Here it is, my catch up and pic for today! Abby was being a goof ball earlier so why not catch it and show you all. I'm not sure if she's trying to be a hippy with the necklace around her head or what. But look at that face!

Project 365 - Day 33

Sorry I'm getting behind on these! This long 4th of July weekend has really screwed up my schedule. That and I'm in the processes of redoing our bathroom a bit, and my sister getting ready to come for a visit. I'll try to get caught up today, I only need to put up 2 pics today, I think. Anyway...

Look what I get pleasure of looking at this morning! She's so happy and cute! What a combo! And don't mind that crazy hair, it's always like that, especially after a bath!

Project 365 - Day 32

I have discovered that our little Catey bug hates baby food with a passion. I mean, she will throw a fit if you stick the food in her mouth. Earlier today I couldn't even get one bite in her mouth without crying. Nathan accidentally found out this weekend that she would rather eat "real" food. I'm guessing it's a texture thing. None the less, I will do whatever it takes to please my baby and make sure she at least is eating and trying something. Tonight we had roast with potatoes and carrots. Since she's too little to try meats yet, she got to try everything else. She loved it too! Just look!
