Project 365 - Day 110 through Day 115

It's been a little busy around here with Emma's birthday, party prep, and party. Here are a few highlights of our last week. Again the pics are a little centered around Emma, but she has been the star of the show all week!

On Em's birthday, she got a Beauty Salon from Mom and Dad, can you see she LOVES IT! She likes to pretend to do our hair, so this was a definite hit!

My best friend Kyla sent Em an awesome package in the mail. Here she is trying on her b-day tiara and new coat. She's such a ham!

Catey all ready to party on Saturday! She's just too cute!

Project 365 - Day 109 Happy Birthday Emma!!

Well, today marks the day my big girl Emma turns 3! She's so excited that she's a big girl now! To mark the special occasion, I'm going to bombard you with Emma pics! Enjoy!

Her birthday, September 22, 2006. At 8:49 p.m. CST, our little 6 lb 11 oz bundle of joy came into the world!

Project 365 - Day 105 through Day 108

I got a little smarty pants on my hands. I walked in her room the other night to find her doing this!!
Emma got to open an early birthday gift from my Great Aunt and Uncle! She loved it all!!
He's such a Diva!! Can anyone say BLACKMAIL!
Catey is just too much. She decided to try on Uncle Johnny's hat. I think it looks pretty good on her!

Project 365 - Day 98 through Day 104

Alright, I know I'm a week behind. It's that time of year when it gets a little crazy around here, so I hate to tell you to get used to posts having a few days worth of pics. I will definitely try to not make it a weeks worth of pics from now on.

Lately I've been working on a project that I can't divulge here, due to having some viewers that I don't want to spoil it for! Lets just say it's all going to pay off in the end. I will give you a sneak peek below! So without further ado... my pics!

Project 365 - Day 96 and 97

Em and Ab were cracking me up yesterday! I was sitting here when I happened to look over and see Em stripped down to her underwear and starting to fidget with them. I asked what she was doing. "Getting ready to take a shower." They were using their play house as a shower house. I made them keep the undies on, but got a good laugh at them showering then wrapping up in "towels." Such imagination!

Project 365 - Day 92 thru 95

I think your getting used to this by now, I fell behind. We had a busy 4 day weekend with Abby and then a miserable Sunday, when all of us were hit with the flu bug. Mommy and Daddy we're napping in shifts, that's how bad we were. Thankfully we got most of the bug out of here, trying to air the rest of it out with the cooler morning weather. In the mean time, I'll catch you up over the weekend and then share an extra post just for today, later.

This first pic is actually from Wed, but I thought it was too cute not to throw in. We went to the park with some friends. Emma always loves to play with her "best friend Alexa." Their actually cousins, but who's counting! lol When we got to the park, these girls wouldn't hardly part. And to make sure they didn't they held hands the whole time!


I had made the kids some hats. Actually it started out, I made myself one, just because I thought his new pattern looked cool. Then Nate wanted one, then Abby, Emma, Jake, so on. So we all have brand new hats for winter. Anyway, the 2 girls wanted to show off theirs!


There are moments when it's just too precious not to capture. Daddy reading a story to his kids was one of them. Especially this particular story, because it used to be one of his favorites when he was a kid! Of course, as soon as I whipped the camera out, Jake was "cheesin." But originally, both kids were hypnotized by the story!

Finally, I'll conclude with a little treat. Here's a video taken the other day of Catey trying to crawl across the floor. As of last night, this video became outdated. She's no longer trying to crawl, but is crawling!!! Still it's a cute video of her regardless!!

Project 365 - Day 91

Today we met up with my mommy's group at the park. Catey got a chance to enjoy the swings there... and Enjoy she did!

Project 365 - Day 90

After snack time today, Abby and Jacob came to sit down next to me on the couch. We were watching a movie when I realized it was awful quiet and Emma was missing. Abby hopped up to see where Emma was, and this is what she found. I guess it was a cozy little place to nap.

Project 365 - Day 89

Catey has been getting very mobile within the last 2 weeks. With that, she's started exploring the house. In the hallway, by the kids' room, we store our bathroom stuff. She found the toilet paper today. I think we're going to have our hands full with this one!
